Inverters and Frequency Converters

An inverter controls how a drive operates, so its failure stops the machine and often the whole line. A new inverter can cost a lot, and in older installations it may no longer be available. At Enetiv we supply inverters and frequency converters that are new, used and fully regenerated, including those withdrawn from manufacturer support (EOL).

Selection for a specific drive

A catalogue number alone is not enough. We check hardware versions, firmware and drive parameters, so that the inverter suits the given machine application. On request, we will program the device. Simply send us the configuration file by email.

Testing in an inverter–motor setup

This is one of our main advantages. We have test stands with a dynamometer, where we check inverters under load, in an inverter–motor setup with a braking system. We also carry out thermal tests as well as insulation and parameter stability measurements. Every part from our warehouse or stock can be tested on a stand before shipping.

We have stands for Siemens (Simodrive, Sinamics, Sinumerik), Rexroth/Indramat, Bosch, Baumüller, Allen-Bradley, SEW, Schneider Electric/Elau/PacDrive, KEB, B&R, ABB and Yaskawa, among others.

Warranty and logistics

We provide our own workshop warranty on used components, and we handle claims locally. In a critical failure, we can deliver the part by express delivery, using dedicated transport to your plant's gate. When needed, we also provide remote support with installation and commissioning.

Repair an inverter instead of buying a new one?

If you do not want to buy a new module, we can check whether the damaged inverter can be repaired. We repair AC/DC/PV inverters at component level, including Siemens, ABB, Yaskawa, Schneider, Rockwell and Mitsubishi. You will find the details on our inverter repair page.
